On November 30, 2023, GSA awarded $22,688,000 for the electrification of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. This building is one of 100 buildings that GSA plans to upgrade using funds from IRA section 60504. The project will install electric heat pump technologies so that the facility will no longer rely on natural gas.
