GSA Uses IRA Funds to Buy Sustainable Glass for Virginia Courthouse

On September 20, 2023, GSA purchased windows made of low embodied carbon glass for a $16.5 million renovation project at the Lewis F. Powell Jr. U.S. Courthouse in Richmond, VA. IRA section 60503 provides funding for GSA to spend on low embodied carbon construction materials that meet the GSA’s Interim IRA Low Embodied Carbon Material Requirements.
