Type: Implementation of IRA
On July 20, 2023, NOAA announced that it is seeking comments in the form of answers to provided questions on how to enhance the agency’s delivery of IRA-funded climate services, including climate data, information, science, and tools. NOAA’s goal is to ensure equitable delivery of these services to a diverse set of user communities. NOAA will host virtual public listening sessions in August and September for participants to provide comments. Comments may be submitted electronically, via email, via mail, or via public listening sessions.
Update: On September 18, 2023, NOAA extended the comment deadline for interested parties. Comments are due on or before October 21, 2023, extended from the prior deadline of September 21, 2023.
