Type: Rollback of IRA
On March 10, 2025, Representative Michael Cloud (R-27th District, TX) introduced a bill to repeal and rescind any unobligated balances under IRA section 70002 and 70003.
IRA section 70002 appropriates $1.29 billion to the US Postal Service to purchase zero-emissions delivery vehicles and $1.71 billion for charging infrastructure at USPS facilities. Funds are available until September 30, 2031.
