Type: Implementation of IRA
On August 27, 2024, DOE announced $240 million for 19 state and local governments to adopt and implement energy efficient and innovative building codes. These grants are administered through DOE’s Office of State and Community Energy Programs and funded by IRA section 50131. A full list of selected projects can be found here. Applications for the second round of funding will close on September 13, 2024.
