On August 15, 2024, DOE announced the availability of $50 million to help small- and medium-sized suppliers adapt manufacturing facilities to build the electric vehicle (EV) supply chain in six states. The funds come from the Domestic Automotive Manufacturing Conversion Grant Program, funded by IRA section 50142. States have until October 15, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET to submit an application.
