DOE Shares Applicant Self-Disclosed Projects Receiving Clean Energy Manufacturing Investments in Industrial and Energy Communities

On January 17, 2025, DOE released self-disclosed information on the recipients of section 48C Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Credits, amounting to nearly $1 billion in grants. Nine out of the twenty-two projects using section 48C credits were located in energy communities.

Section 48C tax credits are funded by IRA section 13501, expanding the cap on credits for renewable energy and conservation projects to $10 billion.
