Type: Implementation of IRA
On November 20, 2024, DOI announced a grant opportunity through the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to support aquatic resource management activities in Oregon/Washington. The grants will be used to address a variety of issues “includ[ing] restoration, habitat fragmentation and degradation, drought resiliency, water availability, and aquatic invasive species.” Awards will range from $50,000 to $200,000. All applications are due by February 4, 2025 at 5pm EST.
The grants are funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and IRA sections 50221 and 50222, which appropriated funds to DOI to support conservation, restoration, and resilience activities on public lands managed by the BLM.
