On December 18, 2024, DOI’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) posted a $10,000,000 grant opportunity through the headquarters office for plant conservation and restoration management projects. The funding will be used to support a variety of activities, including protecting biodiversity, increasing climate resilience, and more. Individual awards will range from $500,000 to $5,000,000. The grants are funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and IRA sections 50221 and 50222, which appropriated funds to DOI to support conservation, restoration, and resilience activities on public lands managed by the BLM.
