DOI Announces Rangeland Management Funding Opportunity in Oregon and Washington with February 18, 2025 Deadline

On November 14, 2024, DOI announced a grant opportunity through the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to support rangeland management activities in Oregon and Washington. The grant will fund “activities that support maintaining or achieving land health and productivity, increasing carbon sequestration, and creating resilient landscapes to benefit current and future generations.” Awards will range from $30,000 to $500,000. All applications are due by February 18, 2025 at 5pm EST.

The grants are funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and IRA sections 50221 and 50222, which appropriated money to DOI to support conservation, restoration, and resilience activities on public lands managed by the BLM.
