Type: Implementation of IRA
On December 20, 2024, DOI announced two grant opportunities through the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to support various resource management activities in New Mexico. The topics and amounts of each grant are listed below. All applications are due by February 26, 2025 at 5pm EST.
– Good Neighbor Authority: awards ranging from $25,000 to $500,000
– Rangeland Resource Management: awards ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000
The grants are funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and IRA sections 50221 and 50222, which appropriated funds to DOI to support conservation, restoration, and resilience activities on public lands managed by the BLM.
