EPA Announces $1 Million Community Grant for the Bronx River Alliance

On August 29, 2024, EPA announced $1 million for the Bronx River Alliance in partnership with Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice through the Community Change Grants Program. The funding will aid in the establishment of a Bronx Climate Justice Task Force. The Task Force will ensure that disadvantaged communities can fully participate in planning and implementation decisions about coastal adaptation, habitat restoration, and related local, state, and federal infrastructure projects. The Community Change Grants Program Notice of Funding Opportunity will accept applications through November 21, 2024.
