GSA and DOE Announce $9.6 Million to Improve Energy Efficiency in Federal Buildings

On July 18th, 2024, the General Services Administration and the Department of Energy announced that they were investing $9.6 million in improving energy efficiency measures in federal buildings. This funding was made available through IRA section 60504, which provided additional funding for its Green Proving Ground program. This investment will fund the installation and evaluation of energy efficiency technologies.
