Type: Implementation of IRA
On January 19, 2023, GSA announced the release of $79 million in funding for the construction of a new laboratory for the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) at the Denver Federal Center.
The funding will be used to build an all-electric, high-performance laboratory that will reduce emissions and use energy saving technologies, and aims to be net-zero through the use of solar panels. The laboratory will be used to perform mission critical testing, and will replace an aging facility at the Lakewood campus.
