Type: Implementation of IRA
On July 18th, 2024, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency announced it was investing $220 million in funding for transformational habitat restoration and coastal resilience projects. IRA section 40001 provides funding for the Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Grant Program. This funding will go to dozens of states and tribes to restore critical ecosystems.
