Type: Implementation of IRA
On December 19, 2024, NOAA published a notice that the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Advisory Committee will hold a multi-day public meeting on January 21–23, 2025 to hear public input on various topics. The meeting will be in hybrid format, with in-person and virtual attendance options. Among the topics discussed will be the status of the IOOS’s IRA projects.
The IOOS receives funding for its projects and programs through IRA section 40001, which appropriates funds to NOAA to support climate resilience initiatives in coastal communities.
