On September 27, 2023, Treasury announced that it will open the application for the Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit, created by IRA section 13103, on October 19, 2023 at 9 am ET. The Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit adds a 10 or 20 percent boost to the base investment tax credit for solar and wind projects located in low-income or Tribal communities.
Treasury and DOE launched a help desk and hosted a webinar on the application process on September 29, 2023. A recording of the webinar is available here, and presentation slides available here.
