On August 29, 2024, USDA announced $140 million for clean energy projects in Nevada and Kentucky through the Powering Affordable Clean Energy (PACE) Program. The funds will support lowering power bills for rural households and expanding reliable access to clean energy for rural families, small businesses and agricultural producers through investments that include solar panel facilities and hydroelectric plants.
