On April 29, 2024, USDA awarded $144 million in loans and grants to 56 projects in rural and Tribal communities participating in the Rural Partners Network (RPN). The funding primarily comes from the IRA, and projects will include modernization of water and wastewater infrastructure, installation of clean energy technologies, and rehabilitation of affordable homes. The projects are located in Alaska, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Puerto Rico.
