On May 14, 2024, USDA announced $74 million to support forest health and the wood products economy. The funds will go towards 171 projects across 41 states through the Forest Service’s Wood Innovations Grant, Community Wood Grant, and Wood Products Infrastructure Assistance Grant Programs. The projects will increase demand and create new and innovative uses for sustainably sourced wood.
