USDA Announces Florida Funding Opportunity for ACEP with December 20, 2024 Deadline

Date: 11/07/2024
Deadline: 12/20/2024
Type: Implementation of IRA

On November 7, 2024, USDA announced that the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Florida is accepting applications for the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) for fiscal year 2025. The program provides funding for easements to reduce, capture, avoid, or sequester greenhouse gas emissions. The Natural Resources Conservation Service is considering applications for both ACEP components, the Agricultural Land Easements and the Wetland Reserve Easements. Applications are due by December 20, 2024.

ACEP is funded by the Farm Bill and IRA section 21001, which appropriated money to support climate smart agricultural conservation investments.
