USDA Announces Funding for Rural Americans to Develop Clean Energy as Part of Investing in America Agenda

On June 26th, USDA announced $375 million in funding for clean energy projects in rural areas. This funding was made available through the Powering Affordable Clean Energy program (PACE) and the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). USDA will provide $275 million in funding for rural electric cooperative projects through PACE, and $100 million in funding for rural agricultural producers and small businesses to expand their use of renewable energy through REAP. USDA continues to accept REAP applications through September 30th, 2024.
