USDA Announces Funding Opportunity for CSP in Illinois with January 2025 Deadline

On November 25, 2024, USDA announced that the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Illinois is accepting applications for funding through the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) for fiscal year 2025. The funds will be used to “advance conservation on producer’s farm or forest land through practices and enhancements such as cover crop, conservation tillage, wildlife habitat planting, prescribed grazing, nutrient management, tree planting and more.” The application deadline is January 10, 2025.

CSP and EQIP are funded by the Farm Bill and IRA section 21001, which appropriates funds to support climate smart agricultural conservation investments.
