USDA Announces Funding Opportunity for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program in Missouri

Date: 12/18/2024
Type: Implementation of IRA

On December 18, 2024, USDA announced that the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Missouri is accepting applications for funding through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) for fiscal year 2025. EQIP invests in climate smart agricultural conservation. Through the program, NRCS provides technical and financial assistance to farmers to implement conservation activities which have climate mitigation benefits, support conservation easements that can reduce greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, and more.

EQIP is funded by the Farm Bill and IRA section 21001, which appropriates funds to support climate smart agricultural conservation investments.
