USDA Announces North Carolina ACEP Funding Opportunity with December 20, 2024 Deadline

USDA announced that the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in North Carolina is accepting applications for the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) for fiscal year 2025. The program provides funding for easements to reduce, capture, avoid, or sequester greenhouse gas emissions. NRCS is considering applications for the Agricultural Land Easements component of ACEP. Applications for the IRA-funded portions of the program are due by December 20, 2024.

ACEP is funded by the Farm Bill and IRA section 21001, which appropriated funds to support climate smart agricultural conservation investments.
