Type: Implementation of IRA
On November 27, 2024, USDA announced that the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Ohio is accepting applications for the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) for fiscal year 2025. The program provides funding for easements to reduce, capture, avoid, or sequester greenhouse gas emissions. NRCS is considering applications for the Agricultural Land Easements component of ACEP. Applications are due by December 31, 2024.
ACEP is funded by the Farm Bill and IRA section 21001, which appropriated funds to support climate smart agricultural conservation investments.
