On October 16, 2024, USDA announced a funding opportunity through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) for fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027. REAP, which is funded by IRA section 22002, supports projects to expand renewable energy and improve energy efficiency in rural communities. The funding opportunity is for competitive grants and guaranteed loans with an expected total value of $600 million. Application deadlines for different rounds of funding are listed below.
