USDA Invests $163 Million in Rural Communities to Lower Energy Costs and Create Jobs in 39 States

On July 26th, 2024, the United States Department of Agriculture announced that it was investing $163 million in funding for 338 clean energy projects in rural communities across the United States and Guam. This funding was made available through IRA section 22002, which provided funding for the Rural Energy for America Program. This investment will fund the installation of clean energy projects.
