Type: Rollback of IRA
On February 28, 2025, DOT shut down the Office of Climate Change and Environment’s (Climate Change Center’s) website. The Climate Change Center was responsible for assisting federal grantees with receiving DOT funds under the IRA.
DOT received funding from IRA sections 40007 (sustainable aviation fuel grants), 60501 (neighborhood access and equity grants), 60505 (transportation environmental reviews) and 60506 (low-carbon transportation materials grants).
