Type: Implementation of IRA
On July 17th, 2024, the Environmental Protection Agency announced that it was investing $160 million to support the clean manufacturing of construction materials across the country. This funding was made available through IRA section 60112, which established EPA’s Grant Program for Reducing Embodied Greenhouse Gases in Construction Materials and Products. This funding will go to manufacturers and universities.
