On June 25th, EPA announced $8.8 million for the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) for measures to reduce air pollution from wood heaters. NESCAUM is a non-profit association of air quality agencies in the Northeast that provides support to air quality and climate programs in the region. The funding is available through IRA section 60105(d). NESCAUM will use the funding to help EPA determine emissions limits in a future wood heater standard.
