On October 15, 2024, GSA announced that it had awarded a $7.4 million contract to Chitina Diversified Services, a Native Alaskan-owned firm based in Alaska, for a repair project to the Howard H. Baker, Jr. U.S. Courthouse in Knoxville, Tennessee. $3.3 million of the contract is funded by IRA section 60503, which appropriated funds to GSA to support the use of low-carbon building materials in federal facilities.
