Type: Implementation of IRA
On June 25th, HUD announced $142 million in grants and loans for energy-efficiency and climate resiliency renovations at HUD-assisted properties. This funding, distributed under HUD’s Green and Resilient Retrofit Program, was made available by IRA section 30002. This funding will help hundreds of multi-family properties with projects including expanding insulation, installing heat resistant roofs, and more. HUD will continue to accept GRRP loan and grant applications until July 31st, 2024.
