Type: Implementation of IRA
On February 22, 2024, HUD announced $73.5 million in IRA section 30002 funds to provide new loans and grants under the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP). These funds will support energy efficiency and climate resilience renovations at 10 HUD-assisted multifamily properties. This GRRP award brings HUD’s total to $368 million to support renovations of over 9,000 homes for very low-income households, seniors, and people with disabilities.
