Type: Implementation of IRA
On September 13, 2023, HUD announced the award of $18 million to owners of properties participating in HUD-Assisted Multifamily Housing programs as part of the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program. This is the first GRRP award since its establishment by IRA section 30002. The funding will be used to invest in properties by making resiliency upgrades like adding solar panels, updating heating and cooling, and replacing windows.
