HUD Awards $1.1 Million in Funding to Repair and Modernize Senior Housing in Baltimore

On October 2, HUD announced that it finalized two awards for improvements to senior housing in Baltimore through the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP). The awards, totaling $1.1 million, will go to Greens at Irvington Mews and Park Heights Place. GRRP is a direct loan and grant program, which was created and funded by IRA section 30002 to support projects that would improve the energy efficiency and climate resilience of the recipient-properties. The funds will be used to finance repairs and make energy efficiency and climate resilience upgrades.
