Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council to Hold Public Meeting on February 10, 2026 to Discuss IRA-Funded Projects

On January 22, 2026, NOAA published a notice that the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council will be holding a two-day public meeting from February 10–11, 2026 to hear public input on actions affecting Mid-Atlantic fisheries. The meeting will be held in a virtual format. Among the topics discussed at the meeting on February 10 will be an update on the status of one of the Council’s IRA-funded initiatives.

The Council was one of eight regional fishery management councils to receive funding from NOAA, appropriated in IRA section 40001. This funding is to support coastal communities in building climate resiliency.
