Type: Implementation of IRA
On November 22, 2024, NOAA published a notice that the Pacific Fishery Management Council will be holding a series of three public meetings with its Advisory Bodies to discuss the Council’s IRA-funded initiatives. The meetings will be held online on December 11, 2024 at 10am–2pm; December 13, 2023 at 12pm–4pm; and December 17, 2024 from 12pm–4pm. Information on how to virtually attend the meetings is available on the Council’s website. The three meetings will each focus on a separate IRA-funded project.
The Council was one of eight regional fishery management councils to receive funding from NOAA, appropriated in IRA section 40001. This funding is to support coastal communities in building climate resiliency.
