On January 11, 2024, USDA announced the award of $19 million in grants to increase availability of domestic biofuels in 22 states. The grants will be made to U.S. business owners through the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program. IRA section 22003 appropriates $500 million to USDA for grants to projects that increase the sale and use of agricultural commodity-based fuels through infrastructure improvements.
